EPS containers can also be used for shipping random fragile items to that that college student or to mom & dad, Aunt Delores & Uncle Jim or grandma & grandpa for birthdays and during the holiday season. The EPS container can usually be shipped without using a corrugated box if taped properly. The thick walls allow the box to be used over and over for storage for cold or ambient conditions. Expandable Polystyrene is the best inter protective packaging for shipping everything from wide screen televisions to bottles filled with liquids. The objective is to design a package that suspends the shipped component within a corrugated carton and if mishandled, the corrugated may get damaged, but the EPS inter packaging protects the fragile components. EPS is resilient and will absorb more G-force than plain corrugated or pulp, made from paper, because paper products do not have the crushing characteristics which is inherent within EPS. EPS is a cellular foam which is custom molded into a three dimensional product and has clean, precise dimensions and is more dimensionally stable than paper. Shippers are molded so they can be shipped laying down or standing up with variations to include a single bottle pack up to a 12 bottle pack
